We're searching for an exceptional publicist for our coastal office. Ours is a progressive culture with a fun-loving team and socially conscious and often comedic clients. We love them and treat them like family. Same with our team members.

Our to-be publicist will oversee some of our accounts, help strategize and implement public relations and marketing programs and engage in top-notch media relations practices.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years experience in media relations, has already developed strong press relationships and has a magnetic personality, a deep interest in seeing clients succeed, loves working with the press and revels in the thrill of success in PR. They’re sharp, witty, a superb writer and have:

  • Guts!
  • An appreciation of sustainable food and food culture.
  • A good attitude, because God knows life is too short to work with people who can’t laugh at themselves.
  • Fine-tuned research skillz (yah, a z).
  • A deep passion for helping clients grow and succeed. They’re rooting for them along the way and championing their successes.
  • A firm grasp on planning and executing social media strategies.
  • Excellent connections with national hospitality, lifestyles, food and travel press.
  • The ability to create and executive strategic public relations plans with the support of a tenacious and capable team.
  • Proven ability to secure national and local press and partnerships.
  • Big, creative ideas that they can execute effectively.
  • A wicked sense of humor.
  • The desire to work in a creative and collaborative environment.
  • An equal appreciation of Jimmy Fallon, Alice Waters and Paulo Freire.

Salary: Commensurate with experience. Benefits: Medical, vacation and sick days and half-day Fridays.
