The team at PlainClarity Communications, a San Diego-based lifestyle and hospitality PR firm, seek a witty and wise intern for their La Jolla office. This internship that will help you on your path to becoming a PR powerhouse, sans the unsightly steroid-induced muscles so prevalent in bodybuilding magazines. It’s a four month long internship at 20 hours per week. College credit or experience only. Previous internship experience moves you to the top of the list. You must have a reliable form of transportation.

This isn’t a “gopher” position, where we load you with heavy grunt work and wish you well as, through osmosis, you hope to learn the tools to becoming a sharp public relations practitioner. You’ll be a key member of the team, learning valuable, real-time lessons designed to position you for success upon graduation. We’re a communicative and expressive lot, so expect to ask questions, receive direction and use your creative abilities. You are confident, passionate about PR, a strong writer and ready to advance your skills.
