Seven Things you Didn't Know About PlainClarity, as Told by an Adoring Intern

Just blocks from the ocean on Highway 101 sits a tiny blue building, proudly sporting the PlainClarity name. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a small collection of smiling faces, enthusiastically typing away to the tune of whatever music fits the day. Catch us on an afternoon with slightly grey skies, and you’ll probably find your toe tapping along to some acoustic music. This brings us to PlainClarity fun fact #1: Brook Larios firmly believes in playing “moody music,” i.e. Jack Johnson, Coldplay, and John Mayer, to get the creative juices flowing on gloomy days. Additionally, some of Brook’s noteworthy passions include kettlebells, yoga pants, and mildly competitive karaoke. Fun fact #2: Her go-to karaoke song happens to be Sir Mix a Lot - Baby Got Back, a musical masterpiece of which she knows every word. Joe Larios, who stars as our in house Pete Wentz doppelgänger (fun fact #3, see photos below), is a coffee connoisseur, bringer of fig bars, and one of the healthiest eaters we know. Joe is also an avid runner, hitting the streets of Encinitas for a lengthy stretch several times a week. Fun fact #4: Brook and Joe are regular half marathon competitors, and those animals both managed to compete in one not long after having their first child. Fun fact #5: Monday meetings are a weekly occurrence here at PlainClarity, where we touch base about each of our clients. They typically take place in the outdoor space just behind the office that absolutely radiates feng shui, and each meeting is concluded with a statement from each employee on what we are most proud of from the previous week. Shoutout to Brook for always keeping the positivity rolling. Fun fact #6: Every so often, our darling bosses treat us to lunch at a tasty local joint. Needless to say, we love our fearless leaders, and the tacos they buy us.
