You...

Have a minimum of six years of experience in pr, with several in an agency setting.

Are an engaging and effective writer with a clear, distinct and conversational voice. You’re relentlessly tenacious, confident, organized and detail-oriented, witty, intelligent and trustworthy with a strong work ethic. You are resourceful and committed. You do well, nay thrive, under pressure. Your research skills are exceptional; you know how to find trends and secure stories with local and national press. You enjoy working in an autonomous environment and consider yourself extremely creative. The tactics you employ could be considered vanguard. You’re confident in your abilities. You’re successful at executing team strategy with creativity, securing editorial placements and managing events and a fantastic team.

Love people. Truly. Treats them fairly and respectfully. Is not superficial in engaging with the press, but rather, really cares about clients, members of press and others with whom they’re regularly in contact.

Are an effective leader. Are intellectually curious.

Are skilled in high-level project management, with the ability to delegate and distribute roles and tasks among teammates.

Are excellent at creating, manage, execute and follow up on large scale events, press launches and overall campaigns.

Never show up with an attitude. Buck the status quo.

Can demonstrate strong editorial placements recently secured and vetted relationships with members of the media and others in the community.

Are exceptionally resourceful and committed to follow-through; won’t stop until all angles are exhausted.

Have acumen in all major social media platforms and keeps a pulse on emerging resources to leverage for clients.

Understand the unique angles and concepts associated with the hospitality, hotel, lifestyle and tech industries.

Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and appreciates a non-traditional approach to agency structure and methods.

Can confidently and effectively manage, develop and motivate a team to execute quality work for clients, successfully executing short-term projects while tracking against long- term goals.

Are self-motivated and proactive, adaptable and resourceful.

Are successful at prospecting, pitching and securing new business.

Some of the things you’ll be doing...

  • Developing pr, marketing and social media initiatives and working with a team to successfully execute them.
  • Recommending and implementing uncommon, creative initiatives that improve the public’s perception of clients and the agency.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with press, bloggers and key tastemakers.
  • Pitching stories that stick and securing promotional and partnership opportunities that benefit our clients.
  • Researching and maintaining awareness of national trends in food, hospitality, luxury lifestyle and tech.
  • Managing tv segments, photoshoots and other work in the field. This sometimes involves eating delicious food and sipping refreshing libations.
  • Securing new business opportunities.
